"They want to hire you"

After that failed interview process with that previous company, I found another recruiter that was looking for someone just like me.

I got an interview with a marketing agency, and finally after all the search and hope that I can continue working in the creative field, my recruiter called me and told me that the company liked me and they want to hire me. Yesterday I signed a contract with the agency. I admit, I had doubts about going back to work, but I'm having really good gut feelings about this.

As I mentioned before, it's an advertising/marketing agency working with clients within the travelling sector. Let me tell you what excites me the most about this opportunity. Because these guys are working across different media (digital design using photography, and videography). I feel like it's gonna be a great opportunity to gain professional experience and grow as a creative within the fields that I'm the most interested in. I'm hoping with time, and as I get better at my job, they will allow me to join the team - every now and then - that travels the world to create video and photo content for the clients. OMFG it would be a dream come true!!! 🤩 But let's not get my hopes up too high. But hey!, I need something to hold onto. Whatever the future holds for me, now I'm just really excited to get paid for being creative and I can't wait to learn more about travelling and marketing.

For me, it's really important to work with/for people that I want to be around. It has always been a priority and I have always been lucky enough to be part of fun and friendly communities.

I was interviewed twice. The first time, it was with one of the founders of the company and the creative art director. They both seem to be really nice people. The second time it was just me and another founder of the company. He came across as a fun, and positive person as well, so I'm excited to get to know the rest of the team, become a part of the culture and learn about their business.

These are my first impression, my hopes and feelings in the present. Tomorrow is a mystery.
